Abstract Geotechnical engineering work contributes to the total environmental impact and monetary cost occurring from construction sector. Decisions made regarding geotechnical aspects have a profound effect on of structure during its life cycle. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Cost Analysis (LCCA) are established methods for assessing impacts works. This paper presents results literature review 56 published papers current situation use LCA LCCA in engineering. It is found that only limited research has been applying structures.
